Sensors. Separator.
One laptop.

Pressure transmitters, thermocouples, and flow meters connect through RS-485 and TCP straight into a rugged field laptop running WLTD. Every reading, every second — on one screen.

Real-time flow
from wellhead to screen.

Data streams from every sensor through the cable network into the DAQ engine. AGA-3, AGA-7, Z-factor, IPR — all calculated live, displayed as charts and gauges.

Zoom in.
Everything is here.

Pressures, temperatures, flow rates, alarms, reports — the entire well test operation runs from this screen. Design layouts, export PDFs, monitor remotely.

Built for the
wellsite, not the office.

01

Live Sensor Acquisition

Connect any wellsite instrument using industry-standard serial and network communication. WLTD automatically detects connected devices and starts live acquisition within seconds. All sensors are polled in parallel with real-time health monitoring and automatic reconnection on signal loss. Supports wellhead pressure (FTHP/CTHP), separator pressure & temperature, differential pressure, choke position, gas flow, oil flow, and water flow.

  • RS-485, RS-232 and TCP/IP network instruments
  • 50 ms minimum polling cycle
  • Automatic device detection on startup
  • Per-sensor health statistics and error tracking
  • Simulation mode for offline testing and training
02

AGA 3, AGA 7 & AGA 8 Flow Calculations

Full implementation of AGA-3 (2012) orifice metering, AGA-7 turbine metering, ISO 5167:2003, and API MPMS Ch. 11 & 12 for liquid volume correction. Gas compressibility is computed in real time using five selectable methods including AGA-8 Detail and GERG-2008. All volumetric rates, mass flow, heating value, and calorific value update on every acquisition cycle.

  • AGA-3 orifice meter & AGA-7 turbine meter
  • Five Z-factor methods including AGA-8 and GERG-2008
  • Standing's solution GOR (Rs) correlation
  • API MPMS Ch. 11/12 liquid volume correction
  • Gas quality inputs: CO₂, N₂, H₂S, specific gravity
03

Reservoir Engineering & IPR

The built-in Reservoir Engineering tab gives field engineers real analysis tools without a separate office package. Plot live Vogel IPR curves (oil wells below bubble point), run Pressure Transient Analysis (PTA) on acquired BHP/FBHP data, calculate the Liquid Loading critical velocity to identify unloading risk, and use the AI Choke Advisor which recommends optimal choke size based on reservoir pressure, inflow performance, and current wellhead conditions. All curves update live as new data arrives.

  • Vogel IPR curve generation
  • Pressure transient analysis (buildup / drawdown)
  • Liquid loading critical velocity calculator
  • AI-assisted choke size advisor
  • Productivity index (PI) computation
04

Professional Alarm System

Configure four alarm tiers per sensor — Low-Low, Low, High, and High-High — each with independent thresholds, priority levels, and descriptive labels. Alarms trigger instantly when values cross thresholds and are recorded with full timestamps. The alarm panel shows all active alerts with colour-coded severity, operator acknowledgement with name logging, and a complete auditable history log.

  • 4-tier thresholds per sensor (LL / L / H / HH)
  • Priority levels with colour-coded indicators
  • Audible & visual alert on breach
  • Operator acknowledgement with name logging
  • Full alarm history stored in database
05

Visual Report Designer

Build your well test report using a drag-to-reorder section designer. Choose from six section types: Cover Page, Executive Summary, Raw Data Table, Chart, Activity Log, and Operator Notes. Apply a global time-range filter, preview the report live, and export a polished PDF with your company logo and branding. Save layouts as reusable templates.

  • Drag-to-reorder section layout designer
  • Cover page, summary, data table, chart, activity log, notes
  • Global time-range filter for test period selection
  • Live in-app preview before PDF export
  • Reusable report templates
06

Multi-Dashboard & History Charts

The main dashboard is fully customizable — add, resize, and rearrange gauge widgets, digital readouts, and trend charts for any acquired or calculated channel. The History Chart tab plots any combination of parameters over any logged time range on a multi-Y-axis chart. Pan, zoom, and annotate directly on the chart. Export chart images or the underlying data to CSV/Excel. Multiple named dashboard layouts can be saved and switched instantly, so one workstation can support different test configurations without reconfiguring each time.

  • Drag & drop widget layout with resizable gauges
  • Multi-Y-axis history chart for any parameter combination
  • Pan, zoom, and annotation tools
  • Multiple named dashboard layouts
  • Chart image export & CSV/Excel data export
07

Live Remote Monitoring

WLTD includes a built-in live monitoring server that broadcasts real-time data to browser-based clients anywhere on the local rig network — no software installation needed on viewer devices. Access is secured with token-based authentication and configurable per-user permissions that control exactly which data each person can see. Any engineer on the network can open a browser and monitor live readings from a laptop or tablet.

  • Secure authenticated access with per-user permissions
  • Encrypted network connections supported
  • Built-in browser client — no installation needed
  • Works on any device on the local network
  • Live sensor values, alarms, and calculations visible remotely
08

Continuous Data Logging & Auto-Save

Every sensor reading and calculated value is written to a local database immediately upon acquisition — nothing is lost if the workstation restarts. Project configuration auto-saves at regular intervals. Export any logged time range to CSV or Excel with one click. A live data grid shows all channels with column filtering and operator row annotations.

  • Crash-safe local database — every reading persisted immediately
  • Automatic project state saving
  • CSV and Excel export with time-range selection
  • Live data grid with sort, filter and row annotations
  • Full acquisition history retained for the entire test
09

Manual Input & Activity Log

Not everything comes from a sensor. The Manual Input module lets operators record separator readings, tank gauges, choke changes, fluid samples, and any other field observation directly into the same timestamped database as the automated acquisition. The Activity Log captures every operator action — choke adjustments, alarm acknowledgements, note additions, and test phase changes — creating a complete, auditable field record that automatically appears in the generated PDF report.

  • Manual entry of separator, tank & sample data
  • Timestamped to the same database as live sensors
  • Choke sequence event logging
  • Full activity log auto-included in PDF reports
  • Operator name tagging on all manual entries

01

Connect your sensors

Wire pressure gauges, temperature probes, and flow meters to any RS-485/Modbus or TCP/IP device. WLTD auto-scans and identifies connected instruments.

02

Configure test parameters

Enter wellbore geometry, fluid properties, separator details, and AGA constants. Templates save your standard configurations for repeat tests.

03

Acquire & monitor live

Start acquisition and watch real-time dashboards update at 50 ms intervals. Alarms trigger instantly on threshold breaches. All data auto-saves continuously.

04

Generate your report

One click produces a complete, formatted PDF well test report — charts, flow calculations, data tables, and operator signatures — ready to send.

"WLTD reduced our well test reporting time from half a day down to under an hour. The AGA calculations are accurate and the PDF output is exactly what our clients expect."
